KEEPING UP WITH THE FOOD CHALLENGE

DAY 1 CHALLENGE!

INGREDIENTS

  1. Fresh Tomatoes
  2. Fresh pepper
  3. Tomato paste
  4. Pepper
  5. Crayfish
  6. Stockfish
  7. Sardines (if you may)
  8. Vegetable (Fluted Pumpkin Leaves)
  9. Maggi
  10. Salt
  11. Grounded pepper
  12. Fish/ meat, in my case I used the local Melusa fish
  13. Red oil
  14. Vegetable oil
  15. Onions.


PROCEDURES:

  1. Get a blender or grater (Grater Preferably)
  2. Wash your vegetables, onions, fresh tomatoes, and fresh pepper properly, and ensure that the stick of the fresh pepper is plucked off.
  3. Cut your onions in half or slice
  4. Grate your fresh tomatoes, onions, fresh pepper, vegetables ( Fluted Pumpkin leaves), and Crayfish all together.
  5. Empty the grated contention a plate
  6. Soak your stick fish in hot water for some minutes, rinse out and keep on a plate
  7. Open your sardine, get a spoon and smash gently not to lose form completely
  8. Lite up your gas, stock, and hot plate to start cooking. Add red oil to the pot (leave it to bleach just a bit, if desired), and add vegetable oil to the oil red oil. NOTE:- The red oil should be more than the vegetable oil. 
  9. Add your tomato paste and allow to fry
  10. Add your grated content to the pot ( fresh tomatoes, onions.....)
  11. Allow to fry/steam a bit
  12. Add just enough water (not excess, not little, just the right content)
  13. Add your stock fish, your smashed sardine,s and your fish/meat ( I used Melissa)
  14. Leave to boil for 3 minutes
  15. Add your salt, Maggi, and ground pepper
  16. Cover the pot and allow it to steam properly.
